I had a dream,
I had a nightmare,
The year 2000 of the Christian era,
Was here,
So heavy in the minds,
Of Christian astrology,
Of Christian mythology,

Of Christian numerology,
I had to write another story,
Although between the lines it’s also a bit gory,
But closer than the Christian
Version
Of history,
Or so it appears to me.

Dedicated to the
People of Asia,
From Japan to
Vietnam,
From India
To China
And Korea,
Even Indonesia,
Who kept alive
The memory of
Buddha,
While the Indo-Aryan speakers
Of the West
Remain locked
In cultural
Amnesia.
